Terms of Use and Sale
Last updated: October 27, 2026.
This is a translation provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding version and prevails in case of any discrepancy.
These terms govern the use of the ConnectedMe2 app and the purchase of its paid offers. They are offered by Elysio Manuel Martins, publisher of the app (see the legal notice). You accept them, along with the community rules, when you create your account. Apple's standard license agreement also applies.
1. Access to the service
- ConnectedMe2 is only for people 18 and older. Your date of birth is checked when you sign up; a false statement leads to the deletion of the account.
- You can only sign in with Sign in with Apple. An account is personal: you may not lend it, transfer it, or create one for someone else.
- The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Bots, data scraping and automated use are prohibited.
- Signing up and the basic features are free. Some features are paid (ConnectedMe2+ and boosts).
2. The service
ConnectedMe2 lets you post stories visible for 24 hours (and watch, reply to and like them), exchange messages (text, photos, videos, voice messages), discover the people who are online, write openly or anonymously, chat in groups, and present a profile (bio, photos, hashtags, voice intro, Spotify link).
Each photo or video shows whether it was taken live with the app or chosen from the gallery. Screenshots are blocked in conversations, media, stories and profiles. These protections are provided by the app and by iOS: they cannot stop someone from photographing their screen with another device.
To prevent abuse, limits apply to everyone, for example on the number of new conversations per day. The service evolves: features may be added, changed or removed.
3. Anonymous messages
- An anonymous message hides your profile from the person you are writing to. It does not hide you from the moderation team, or from the authorities where the law requires it.
- Anyone can turn down anonymous messages in their settings. Blocking the author of an anonymous conversation prevents them from writing to you anonymously again.
- Without a subscription, you can start 3 new anonymous conversations per 24-hour period. ConnectedMe2+ removes this limit.
- Using anonymity to harass, threaten, humiliate or deceive is prohibited and leads to the deletion of the account.
4. Groups and karma
- Groups are conversations among several people. The two official groups, “France” and “English” (for chatting in English), are open to everyone and run by the publisher: text only, a delay between two messages (slow mode), messages kept for 7 days. Every member is automatically added to the one that matches the language of their app (“France” if it is in French, “English” if it is in English); the other one can be joined, if you wish, from the group directory. You can leave them and come back.
- A group is public (listed in the directory, open to everyone) or private (by invitation from an admin or with its code). In a group, your profile is visible to the other members: there is no anonymity.
- Karma is a score that goes up when other people reply to you in a non-anonymous conversation, or quote or mention you in a group, within daily limits. It goes down with inactivity, blocks received and upheld reports. Anonymous conversations never count. Others see your level, never your score. Karma has no monetary value and cannot be purchased.
- Creating a group requires a sufficient karma level. Its creator is its owner: they appoint the admins and can transfer or delete the group. If they leave it or delete their account, the longest-serving admin, or failing that the longest-standing member, becomes the owner.
- The owner and admins moderate their group: they can delete a message, mute a member, remove them or ban them. They must do so in compliance with these terms; the publisher remains the sole judge of compliance with the community rules and may at any time remove any content, role or group.
- A message reported by three people is hidden until an admin decides. Every report also reaches our moderation team.
5. Community rules
They are displayed in the app (Profile → Settings → Community rules) and form part of these terms, which you accept when you sign up. No tolerance is shown for objectionable or offensive content or for abusive users: the content is removed and its author is banned from the app. There is zero tolerance for:
- harassment, threats, intimidation, blackmail;
- hateful, discriminatory or abusive speech;
- unsolicited nudity and sexual content, and any solicitation of paid sex;
- any content sexualizing a minor, which is reported to the authorities without delay;
- violence, glorification of terrorism, incitement to suicide or self-harm;
- scams, spam, advertising and commercial solicitation;
- impersonation, fake profiles, photos of another person;
- sharing someone's image, voice or private information without their consent;
- selling or promoting illegal products or activities;
- getting around the app's protections (screenshots, media origin, blocks) or a suspension, for example by creating a new account.
Any account belonging to a minor is deleted.
Stay careful: don't share information that could be used to locate or harm you, never send money to someone you don't know, and if you meet up with someone you met in the app, choose a public place and let someone close to you know.
6. Your content
You remain the owner of what you post (photos, videos, voice messages, texts). To operate the service, you grant the publisher a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, technically adapt (formats, thumbnails) and display this content to the people you choose, in the app only, for as long as it is posted there and for the retention period set out in the Privacy Policy.
You warrant that you have the right to post what you send, in particular the consent of the people who appear in your photos and videos. You are responsible for your content and your messages.
7. Reporting and moderation
- Every profile, story, conversation, group and message can be reported or blocked from the app, with a reason.
- A story or message you report disappears from your feed right away. You can also hide it without reporting it (“Hide”): it disappears for you alone, and no one knows.
- An automatic filter prevents certain abusive or hateful terms from being sent. It does not replace reports.
- Our team reviews every report within 24 hours. It removes content that breaks the rules and bans its author (suspension or deletion of the account, depending on severity), without prior warning for serious violations, and reports manifestly illegal content to the authorities.
- Anyone, even without an account, can report illegal content or inappropriate activity to us by writing to contact@connectedme2.fr, with a description of the content, where it is (username, story, conversation) and the reason for the report. This address is also displayed in the app (Profile → Settings → Contact us).
- When we remove any of your content or restrict your account, we tell you why, unless the law prohibits it. You can challenge this decision by writing to the same address: it will be reviewed again by a person.
As the host of the content posted by members, the publisher does not monitor it in advance, but acts promptly as soon as illegal content is reported to it, in accordance with the French Law for Confidence in the Digital Economy (LCEN) and the EU Digital Services Act.
8. Suspension and deletion of the account
- By you, at any time: Profile → Settings → Delete my account. Your profile, stories, photos and conversations are permanently erased.
- Deleting your account or the app does not cancel your subscription: it is managed by Apple and must be canceled in your Apple Account settings (see ConnectedMe2+).
- By the publisher, in the event of a breach of these terms or of the community rules: suspension or deletion of the account, depending on severity. An account deleted for a breach does not entitle you to any refund from the publisher; any remaining boosts are lost.
9. ConnectedMe2+ subscription
Benefits
- Unlimited anonymous messages (without a subscription: 3 new anonymous conversations per 24 hours);
- Discover filters: gender, age range, city, profiles with a photo;
- Ghost mode for stories: watch them without appearing in the list of viewers;
- Read receipts (“Seen”), in conversations where the other person hasn't turned them off; never for the author of an anonymous conversation you have received;
- One free Discover boost every week (it does not carry over from one week to the next);
- A “+” badge on your profile;
- Games: unlimited relaxed games (without a subscription: 3 at a time), unlimited practice on past grids from the last 90 days (without a subscription: one grid a day, from the last 7 days), detailed stats, card backs. Never an edge to win.
We may improve or add benefits; we do not remove a benefit listed above during a period that has already been paid for.
Plans and prices
- ConnectedMe2+ is an auto-renewable subscription, weekly, monthly or yearly. A special yearly offer may occasionally be offered; its terms (price, duration, renewal) are displayed before purchase.
- Prices are displayed in the app before purchase, including all taxes, in the currency of your Apple Account. They may vary by country.
- The subscription is sold and billed by Apple: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Free trial
Where the offer says so, the yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. At the end of the trial, it automatically converts into a paid subscription, at the displayed price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. Only one trial is available per Apple Account.
Renewal and cancellation
- Subscription automatically renews for the same duration, at the price indicated at the time of purchase, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage your subscription, switch plans or cancel in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ConnectedMe2. After canceling, you keep the benefits until the end of the paid period.
- If the price changes, Apple informs you in advance and, where the law or its rules require it, asks for your consent before the renewal.
10. Boosts
- A boost is a consumable in-app purchase, sold individually or in packs of 5, billed by Apple at the price displayed in the app (including all taxes).
- A boost puts your profile at the top of Discover for 30 minutes from the moment it is activated, even if you are not online. Your profile must appear in Discover; only one boost can be active at a time.
- A boost improves your visibility; it guarantees neither messages nor replies.
- Unused boosts stay on your account. They are neither refundable by the publisher nor transferable to another account, nor exchangeable for money, and they are lost when the account is deleted.
11. Referrals
- Each member has a personal invite code to share (Profile → Invite your friends), on its own or in a link.
- A person who creates their account and enters this code within 7 days of signing up gets 7 free days of ConnectedMe2+; the member who invited them gets the same, with no limit on the number of friends invited.
- An account can use only one code, only once, including after deleting an account and creating a new one with the same Apple ID. Nobody can use their own code.
- Free days give the same benefits as the subscription. They are added to those already acquired and, if you are a subscriber, start at the end of your paid period. They do not renew, involve no payment, and are neither refundable, nor transferable, nor exchangeable for money; they are lost when the account is deleted.
- The inviting member only sees the number of friends who joined with their code, never who.
- No spam or fake accounts to obtain free days: in case of abuse, the publisher may remove them and apply article 8.
- The publisher may change or end the referral program at any time; free days already granted remain acquired.
12. Games
- The game room offers multiplayer games (Huit, Proprio), a daily challenge (Word of the Day, Daily Sudoku, Doublette) and challenges between contacts. These are games of skill with no stake and no prize: no rewards, no money; ratings, trophies and leaderboards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged.
- Bots: some opponents are programs, always shown as such. A game with a bot is never ranked.
- Ranked games: only quick games without bots count for the rating; the same pair of players counts for at most 3 games per 24 hours; leaving a game loses it, and leaving several quick games in a row suspends quick play for a few minutes.
- Fair play: playing with several accounts, colluding with an opponent, using a program or exploiting a bug is cheating. It may lead to removal from leaderboards, a rating reset and, in serious cases, the application of section 8. Report a player from the end of the game.
- Between strangers, a table has no free chat: only emotes. The community rules (section 5) apply to games as to the rest of the app.
- The names, rules and visuals of the games belong to ConnectedMe2. Word lists: Lexique 3.83 (New, Pallier et al., CC BY-SA 4.0 license), ENABLE (public domain) and SCOWL (Kevin Atkinson).
13. Withdrawal and refunds
ConnectedMe2+ and boosts are digital content and services supplied immediately. By confirming the purchase, you request that their performance begin right away, before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal from that moment, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
Since subscriptions and boosts are sold by Apple, any refund request must be made to Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support. Apple reviews them under its own terms, including, in the European Union, those relating to withdrawal. The publisher has no access to your payments and cannot issue refunds itself.
You also benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): if a paid feature doesn't work, write to us.
14. Liability
- The app is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running without interruption or errors, but cannot guarantee it (maintenance, network outages, iOS updates).
- The publisher is not the author of the content posted by members and is only liable for it if it failed to act promptly after being informed of it. It is not responsible for exchanges or meetings between members outside the app.
- The “Live” or “Gallery” origin is indicated by the app: it is reliable in normal use, but does not constitute proof.
- Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
15. Intellectual property
The app, its name, its logo, its design and its texts belong to the publisher. Any reproduction or reuse without written permission is prohibited. Members' content remains the property of its authors.
16. Personal data
See the Privacy Policy.
17. Changes
These terms may change along with the app. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. A significant change is announced in the app before it takes effect; if you refuse it, you can delete your account and cancel your subscription.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, write to us first: contact@connectedme2.fr. We will look for an amicable solution with you.
Failing an agreement, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator (Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), then to the competent courts designated under ordinary rules of law, without prejudice to the rights granted to you by the country where you reside.
