Help
A question, a bug, a problem with a member? Email us: contact@connectedme2.fr.
We reply within 48 hours; reports are handled within 24 hours.
Signing in
ConnectedMe2 only uses Sign in with Apple: no password to create, and the app doesn't ask for your email address. The first time you sign in, you choose your username, your first name (and, if you like, your last name, of which only the initial is shown), your gender and your city, then you enter your date of birth: only your age is shown, and the app is for people 18 and older.
On a new iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account to get your account back. If signing in fails, check that you're signed in to your Apple Account in Settings, that two-factor authentication is turned on (Apple requires it) and that you have a network connection.
Anonymous messages
- Writing anonymously: on a profile, tap “Message”, then “Anonymously”. The person sees neither your profile nor your username.
- Replying to a story: your reply is anonymous by default; tap the mask to send it openly.
- Limit: without a subscription, 3 new anonymous conversations per 24 hours. ConnectedMe2+ removes this limit.
- Turning down anonymous messages: Profile → Settings → Edit my profile and visibility → turn off “Accept anonymous messages”.
- Anonymity hides you from other members, not from the moderation team: an abusive anonymous message can be reported like any other, and its author penalized.
Blocking or reporting someone
- On a profile, a story or in a conversation: tap “…”, then Report or Block.
- In Messages, press and hold a conversation; in a conversation, press and hold a message to report it.
- A person you block can no longer write to you or see your profile and stories, and you no longer see theirs. They aren't notified. Blocking the author of an anonymous message stops them from writing to you anonymously again, without revealing who they are.
- To unblock someone: Profile → Settings → Blocked accounts.
Every report is reviewed within 24 hours. You can also email us to add details.
Showing up in Discover or not
Discover shows the people who are online, and you can search it by hashtag. To stop showing up there: Profile → Settings → Edit my profile and visibility → turn off “Show me in Discover”. You can still send and receive messages.
“Live”, “Gallery” and screenshots
A photo or video taken with the app's camera is labeled “Live”; an image chosen from your photo library is labeled “Gallery”. Screenshots and screen recordings are blocked (they come out black) in conversations, media, stories and profiles.
Games, leaderboards and challenges
- The Games tab brings together Huit, the daily challenge (Word of the Day, Daily Sudoku, Doublette), leaderboards and your trophies. “Bot” opponents are programs, always labeled.
- Only quick games without bots count for the rating; you join the leaderboard after 10 games. To stay off it: Profile → Settings → “Appear on leaderboards”. To hide your games on your profile: “My games on my profile”.
- Challenge a contact: controller button in a conversation → Challenge. You both play the same grid, each within 24 hours.
- A player cheats or misbehaves? End of the game → “Report a player”.
Deleting my account
Profile → Settings → Delete my account, then confirm. Your profile, stories, photos and conversations are permanently erased. Your unused boosts are lost.
Deleting your account or the app doesn't cancel your subscription: cancel it with Apple first (see below).
Managing or canceling ConnectedMe2+
Open your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ConnectedMe2. There you can switch plans (weekly, monthly, yearly) or tap “Cancel Subscription”. You keep the benefits until the end of the paid period.
Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. During the 3-day free trial, canceling at least 24 hours before it ends means you won't be charged at all.
Restoring my purchases
On a new iPhone or after reinstalling the app: sign in to your ConnectedMe2 account, then, in the app, open the ConnectedMe2+ screen and tap “Restore” (or go to Profile → Settings → Restore Purchases). Use the same Apple Account you made the purchase with. Your subscription and boosts are linked to your ConnectedMe2 account.
Boosts
- A boost puts your profile at the top of Discover for 30 minutes, even if you're not online. Your profile must appear in Discover; only one boost can be active at a time.
- You buy and start them from the Discover tab (lightning bolt button), one at a time or in packs of 5. With ConnectedMe2+, you get a free boost every week.
- Unused boosts stay on your account. They can't be transferred and are lost if you delete your account.
Asking for a refund
Subscriptions and boosts are sold by Apple: we don't have access to your payments. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (see also Apple Support). The details are in the Terms of Use and Sale.
